James Clarke

Specialist Areas:

James works in the Dispute Resolution department at our main Grimsby office and advises on a range of matters including consumer/contract disputes, debt and money advice and neighbour disputes but with a strong emphasis on debt recovery work and insolvency matters.


Career History:

James read law at Nottingham Trent University and graduated in 2003 having a achieved a 2:1. Upon finishing his degree, he began working at another local firm of solicitors as a paralegal in their debt recovery department. Between 2004 and 2006 James studied the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School on a part-time basis and joined Stephen Ede, Cooke & Ashton as a Trainee Solicitor upon completion. He qualified as a solicitor in July 2008 and joined Bridge McFarland as an Associate in January 2009.

Personal:
In his spare time James likes to keep fit by playing football and frequenting the gym. He also enjoys trips to the cinema and playing the guitar.
